State of the art 15 bed CAMHS-ED service representing Arcadia Care’s EDC facility that is complimented with innovative biotechnology that supports advanced care delivery. Enhancing the care experience and outcomes for all our patients. Park Lodge is an independent hospital set within its own grounds close to the flourishing community of Wolverhampton next to West Park. The hospital is a large Victorian building that has undergone extensive refurbishment to provide accommodation and treatment facilities for up to fifteen children and young people. The service is available to support young people who are assessed as no longer safe to remain in the community or those who may not be making progress or responding to treatment in their current inpatient provision. The CAMHS-ED service focuses significant resources on mental health and well-being of some of the most vulnerable children and includes professional liaison and collaboration with our local partners, their Families and Carers. Young people admitted to the service may be experiencing the following difficulties: • Unable to manage sufficient levels of nutrition orally and thus necessitating the need for naso- gastric (NG) tube feeding • Severe emaciation with high risk of re-feeding syndrome • Rapid uncontrolled weight loss • Severe low mood, disturbed thoughts and attempts to harm themselves or end their lives as a result of their eating disorders symptoms
